Delaware, in the Capital region of the US, is often maligned as being just a business focused state, but it is an attractive and enjoyable place to visit. With a great history, magnificent scenery, a beautiful coastline and enjoyable towns, Delaware is not to be overlooked.
The cities of Delaware, particularly Wilmington and Dover, are full of excellent cultural attractions and boast much else besides. Away from the urban centres beautiful coastal resorts such as Lewes will not disappoint with their magnificent beaches and wonderful atmosphere.

Wilmington - The city of Wilmington is an interesting place to visit with some impressive architecture, interesting museums and enjoyable parks. The Delaware Art Museum is excellent and must not be missed
Dover - The state capital of Delaware, Dover is found in the geographical centre of the state. Despite being a relatively small place, Dover has many attractions including several excellent museums and a thriving bar and restaurant scene.
New Castle - The original capital of Delaware, New Castle is an immaculately preserved and delightful place situated just to the south of Wilmington. There are some magnificent buildings in this historically important area of the state.
Lewes - The excellent beach resort of the Delaware coast has great history being the first town of the first American state. With the lovely stretches of sand, fantastic restaurants and interesting museums, Lewes a great place to visit.
Rehoboth Beach - This thriving beach resort offers great stretches of sand, excellent shopping opportunities, a lively nightlife and a vibrant atmosphere.
